Full‑Time Responsibilities
Receiving, docketing, and processing cases for the District Court. Filing and recording case pleadings. Issuing process as required following established procedures. Setting hearings, maintaining the court calendar, and handling receipts and disbursements. Assisting in docket preparation and completing judicial reports. Providing information and assistance to judiciary, members of the bar, law enforcement agencies, DCF, and the public by phone and in person. Performing other duties as assigned by the Clerk of the District Court. Qualifications
High school graduation or equivalent. One year of clerical or legal experience preferred. Knowledge of modern office practices and computer programs. Professional maturity, time management, and written communication skills. Ability to work effectively and professionally with judges, court personnel, staff, the public, and external stakeholders.
