NON-NEGOTIABLE REQUIREMENTS

Minimum 2 years of experience as an Immigration Legal Assistant for a Law Firm in the United States.

Fully fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish (Reading, writing, speaking - professional proficiency required.)

Available to work Full-time (40 hours a week) in-office, Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-5:00 PM (No hybrid, no remote, no consultancies.)

As we expand, we are seeking an experienced Immigration Legal Assistant to join our dedicated team. This is a fast‑paced environment, and we are looking for someone who is assertive, computer savvy, detail‑oriented, with a great attitude and the willingness to roll up their sleeves and get things done. We need a Legal Assistant who is excited about helping people understand the importance and complexity of immigration, and to help them navigate the stellar services we offer.

Key Responsibilities

Serve as primary client contact (phone, email, in-person).

Prepare and file immigration forms and legal documents under attorney supervision.

Manage case files, calendars, and client communications.

Assist attorneys with case preparation and follow‑ups.

Maintain organized filing systems (physical and digital).

Maintain practice and client confidentiality.

Required Qualifications (NON-NEGOTIABLE)

2+ years of direct immigration legal assistant experience.

Full professional fluency in Portuguese, English, and Spanish.

Strong working knowledge of immigration forms and procedures (Family Petitions, Marriage AOS, K‑visas, Consular Processing, Employment‑Based, Family‑Based Waivers, VAWA, T‑Visa, U‑Visa, and etc.).

Excellent organizational, time‑management, and self‑management skills.

Familiarity with case management software.

Working proficiency with MS Office.

High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
