LOCATION: South of Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, NW corner of W. Airport Freeway (Hwy. 183) and Valley View Lane

SUMMARY: Performs collection activities to achieve department and company goals.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage all phone calls and payments in an accurate, timely, and courteous manner Recognizing each account may require different handling, and each client is unique. Meticulously document all phone calls into the client database system on each client account. Interfaces heavily with various departments to determine the best client approach. Must communicate & follow up effectively with internal departments regarding customer accounts on a timely basis. Accountable for reducing delinquency for assigned accounts Reconciles customer disputes as they pertain to payment of outstanding balances that are due Enlists the efforts of the Client Services Department and senior management when necessary to accelerate the collections process. Provide follow-up as necessary to ensure inquiries and concerns are resolved promptly Process payments, including documentation of all payment information into our client database system with great attention to detail Work extended hours and weekends at least twice a month (required) Performs other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Department.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Must have a high school diploma. 3-5 years of high-volume collection experience preferred. Basic accounting knowledge is required.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Must be able to multitask and adjust to new situations quickly; have excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written; be highly detail-oriented and have a positive attitude; and be committed to providing excellent customer service.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL DEMANDS: To perform this job successfully, the individual must withstand long periods of sitting, looking at a computer monitor, and phone handling for approximately 8-12 hours daily.
