First Federal Bank . Responsibilities include: Interviewing residential mortgage loan applicants. Requesting specified information for loan applications. Notifying applicants of loan decisions. Corresponding with customers, applicants, or creditors to resolve questions regarding application information. Recommending and outlining terms of loans. Informing prospective borrowers of loan commitments. Reviewing developing laws and regulations as they apply to installment loan security agreements. Assisting collection officers with delinquent account files. Ensuring quality loan growth. Note: Mortgage Originators cannot, directly or indirectly, commit First Federal on any lending decisions. Providing excellent service with innovative and creative solutions. Essential Functions include: Interviewing mortgage loan applicants. Requesting necessary information for applications. Communicating loan decisions. Resolving application questions with customers and creditors. Recommending loan terms. Informing borrowers of commitments. Monitoring laws affecting loan security agreements. Supporting collection efforts for delinquent accounts. Driving quality loan growth. Note: Mortgage Originators cannot commit First Federal on lending decisions. Delivering top-tier customer service with innovative solutions. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; 4-year degree preferred. At least 6 years of mortgage loan origination experience. Strong knowledge of financial products and services. Excellent cross-selling, organizational, and communication skills. Effective communication with borrowers, builders, and realtors. Ability to handle time constraints and pay close attention to detail. Extended hours sitting and working on computers may be necessary. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
