Responsibilities
Review financial records for accuracy and compliance with tax laws.
Collaborate with clients to gather information and provide expert tax advice.
Utilize QuickBooks and tax preparation tools for efficiency.
Stay updated on tax regulations to ensure compliance and minimize risks.
Provide excellent customer service and build strong client relationships.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members.
Assist with other accounting tasks and projects as needed.
Requirements
High School Diploma (minimum).
Minimum 2 years of experience in tax preparation.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
Experience in business and company tax preparation.
Strong understanding of tax laws, particularly 1065, 1120s, and 1120 returns.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and tax preparation software (Drake).
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
CPA certification or Enrolled Agent status is a plus.
PTIN number is a plus.
Qualities desired: personal development, inspiration, discipline, impact, communication, results-oriented.
