Posted Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at 6:00 AM Laundry Assistant Eventide Sheyenne Crossings is currently looking for a Part-Time Housekeeper to work 16 hours, every other weekend, 7:00am-3:30pm. The Housekeeper will provide residents with an adequate supply of clean clothing and linen on a daily basis by following established policies and procedures, maintaining related laundry equipment, sorting and folding of clothing and linens is required. Requirements: A high school diploma is preferred but not required. Laundry experience is preferred but not required. Essential Job Functions: Wash, dry, hang up, or fold all residents’ clothing, bedding, tablecloths, and other linens. Sort personal clothing and linen into the appropriate bins for washing. Distribute clean linen to resident care areas in appropriate, covered carts. Ensure that all work areas and carts are kept safe and secure. Familiar with all infection control and department and facility policies and procedures that directly affect the duties of housekeeping. Follow all safety rules when using equipment and chemicals and reports unsafe work areas to a supervisor. Maintains a positive relationship with residents, families, and staff. Stock linen carts or closets correctly and with the correct amount of items. Must be able to count and record information. Keep all equipment clean, locked as indicated, and in a safe manner, as work dictates. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.
