Personal Assistant to Founder
Our client, a confidential private equity firm, is seeking a Personal Assistant to provide proactive, high‑quality administrative and organizational support to an executive who values efficiency, discretion, and clear, concise communication. The PA will work from the LA office when the founder is in Los Angeles and remotely while they are traveling. This role does not require travel, involves lighter evening requests, and averages a few hours of work on weekends.
Responsibilities
Coordinate, oversee, and troubleshoot all travel arrangements for the executive and family
Provide high‑touch service through travel partners; create itineraries and manage logistics
Manage calendars and time commitments across professional and personal needs, including meetings, appointments, and events
Liaise with household staff, advisors, and external partners as needed
Support a wide range of personal and professional tasks to ensure the executive’s day runs smoothly
Maintain strict confidentiality in all matters
Respond to family and household requests as they arise
Key Qualities
Highly organized, dependable, and self‑directed
Proactive in anticipating needs and identifying potential issues
Strong judgment, discretion, and attention to detail
Clear, concise communicator who adapts to the executive’s preferred style
Skilled at problem‑solving and staying ahead of potential challenges
Professional, calm, and composed under pressure
Experience
Previous experience supporting senior‑level executives (Finance or similar industries preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with scheduling and productivity tools (e.g., Outlook, Concur, Teams, etc.)
