Talent Acquisition Specialist at Beacon Specialized Living - Using High Volume Recruiting Tactics to Accelerate Growth
This position is responsible for ensuring that primary responsibilities are delivered in compliance with the company’s policies and procedures, Licensing, and other regulatory bodies. As an Intake Manager you are to be aligned with the goals and mission of the organization and to perform in accordance of our “I” core values of the organization – Integrity, Compassion, Advocacy, Respect and Excellence. Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: Data entry of referrals in Clarity/NextStep, including daily updates. Weekly emails to Community Mental Health Organizations Assign assessments when need to be in person with Clarity Attends conferences, training sessions, seminars, and other professional skill development activities as approved. Other duties as assigned. Education & Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree preferred. A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a human service-related field, preferably in the disabilities industry. Approved by the state, federal, and local governmental entities to work within BSLS programs. Capable of utilizing an electronic record system. Must be approved by state, federal and local governmental entities to work within Beacon Specialized Living Service’s programs and field. Must possess a valid Driver’s License. Proficient in speaking, reading and writing the English Language. Experience with Microsoft Office. Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly Ability to multitask. Attention to detail and organization Ability to complete required training in connection with The Joint Commission, CHMs and other government bodies Preserve and protect the privacy, confidentiality, and security of all medical records, proprietary and other confidential information relating to Beacon Specialized Living, its residents, Team Members, activities and affiliates, in accordance with all applicable laws (especially HIPPA) and contract terms. Promote Beacon in a positive manner and lead by example, modeling our core values in everyday behavior. Understand how to approach and communicate with everyone at all levels. Treat everyone with dignity and respect while responding to their needs. Maintain and sustain a safe community environment and workplace. Follow Beacon's policies, procedures, and manuals. Accept other duties as assigned. Directing and Controlling: The ability to create a motivating climate, achieve teamwork, train and develop, measure work in progress, takes corrective action. Decision making: The ability to make decisions and the quality and timeliness of those decisions. Embracement, support and adherence to Beacon's Mission and Core Values Physical Job Requirements: Exposure to infectious disease. Potential for physical aggression from residents exists Ability to lift and /or move 10 lbs Up to 20% of travel required to visit BSLS facilities. Ability to speak, read, and write the English language. The majority of the duties will be performed at the corporate office. However, some work may be performed at the home-like setting or community facilities with the potential of exposure to infectious diseases. Universal precautions are required to minimize the risk of infections. Work sites may include locations that are not barrier free. Duties are performed in an environment where the potential for physical aggression from the residents exists.
