Position Details In‑Office | New York City
Monday–Friday | 9 AM – 5 PM
This is a full‑time, in‑office position based in our NYC office. You’ll work closely with attorneys and fellow legal professionals in a structured, supportive, and mission‑driven environment.
What You’ll Do As our Immigration Paralegal, you’ll play a critical role in supporting our clients through some of the most important legal challenges of their lives. You’ll assist with humanitarian and family‑based immigration matters. Responsibilities include:
Communicating with clients to gather documentation and finalize legal packets for VAWA, T visas, U visas, and Adjustment of Status
Drafting and editing affidavits, immigration forms, and supporting documentation
Managing case files and tracking key deadlines for filings, court appearances, and USCIS submissions
Performing legal research to support attorneys on complex or time‑sensitive matters
Ensuring client needs are addressed with empathy, efficiency, and excellence
Contributing positively to a highly structured and collaborative team environment
Who You Are You are an empathetic, detail‑oriented professional who brings both heart and focus to your work. You understand the weight of immigration law and handle sensitive topics with care and discretion.
We’d Love To Meet You If You
Have 2–3 years of experience in immigration law, especially in humanitarian applications (VAWA, U visas, T visas)
Are fluent in Spanish (written and verbal)
Communicate clearly, professionally, and compassionately
Are highly organized and comfortable using legal and office software, including Microsoft Office
Thrive in a collaborative team environment with clear processes and shared goals
Are emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and motivated by a sense of purpose
