The William Newman Department of Real Estate is seeking applicants for a tenure track Assistant Professor position starting Fall 2026.
Baruch College, located in the historical Gramercy Park/Flatiron district of Manhattan, is within easy reach of Wall Street, the global headquarters of major companies and cultural organizations, giving students unparalleled internship, career, and networking opportunities. The College’s more than 19,000 students, who speak more than 110 languages, have been repeatedly named one of the most ethnically diverse student bodies in the United States.
The successful candidate will engage in high quality scholarly research and publish their work in top-tier academic journals and teach a variety of basic and advanced real estate courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels.
Qualifications
Ph.D. in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, or a closely related discipline. Successful candidates should possess a demonstrated ability to conduct high-quality scholarly research and publication, outstanding teaching skills, and a willingness to participate in the growing Real Estate programs at Baruch actively.
Compensation
$207,148- $230,000; Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience
