About the Role The Loan Officer Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting our loan officers by managing administrative tasks and ensuring a smooth loan process for our clients. Responsibilities Assist loan officers in preparing loan applications and documentation. Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and provide updates. Maintain organized records of loan files and documentation. Coordinate with underwriters and other departments to facilitate loan processing. Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Required Skills Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Preferred Skills Previous experience in the mortgage or lending industry. Familiarity with loan processing software.
