Packaging Operator I
Responsible for operating machines and performing packaging tasks such as filling, labelling, packing, and wrapping. Follows batch records and cGMP guidelines to support manufacturing, QA, warehouse, and facility operations. Ensures proper documentation and cleanliness of packaging areas and equipment.
Responsibilities
Operate and tend machines for packaging functions (filling, labeling, packing, etc.).
Follow batch record instructions for manual and automated packaging processes.
Assist in equipment setup and operation for primary and secondary packaging.
Maintain chain of custody for materials between packaging and warehouse.
Report issues or observations to QA, Team Lead, or Manager.
Perform cleaning and sanitization of packaging rooms and equipment.
Support equipment qualification protocols as assigned.
Stay current on SOPs, GMP documentation, and logbook entries.
Attend meetings and discussions to support production schedules.
Participate in safety meetings and follow safety guidelines.
Maintain professional and confidential relationships with sponsors.
Comply with all regulatory and company requirements.
Report and correct safety or sustainability issues.
Stop work when necessary to maintain safety.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Mandatory Skills
Basic machine operation and packaging experience.
Ability to follow batch records and SOPs.
Knowledge of cGMP and FDA compliance.
Good documentation habits (neat and timely entries).
Cleaning and sanitization of equipment and rooms.
Team coordination and communication.
Safety awareness and reporting.
Education & Experience
Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 13 years in packaging, manufacturing, or cleanroom operations.
