“It was all a dream…” From burger pop-up to brick and mortar, Boo’s Burgers is a smash burger concept founded by Chef Joseph Boudreaux in 2021. Since its founding, Boudreaux aka ‘Boo’ would pop up across Houston for the next 5 years, selling what he believed to be one of the city’s best burgers. The city often agreed — the burgers would sell out after a few hours of being open. 2025 marked the next chapter with the opening of their flagship location. Founded by a native Houstonian, Boo’s Burgers is proud to be a homegrown business. The purpose has always been to serve as a community gathering spot for Houston, reflecting its rich culture. Located on Navigation Blvd, we are a neighborhood burger stand emphasizing: 1) care towards the food we serve, 2) hospitality and service, 3) engaging programming. We're searching for a cook who enjoys staying busy, gaining and sharing knowledge, and takes pride in consistently delivering quality food. Pay: $15 base Includes tip share Bi-weekly payroll Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus Responsibilities: Cooking food to order, following food safety standards and company procedures Preparing and replenishing ingredients during service Maintaining a clean and sanitary work area (including washing dishes, sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces) Deep cleaning the kitchen as needed Job requirements: Team player Multi-tasker Good listener Punctual and ready to work Ability to stand for 10-hour shifts Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Food handler's card Please note: This description is not exhaustive.
