Full Time Heritage High School Saginaw Township Community Schools AVAILABLE : Immediately SHIFT : 6 hours per day, Monday - Friday when school is in session and meals are served, August - May COMPENSATION : $13.76-$15.78 per hour Qualifications
High school graduate or GED ServSafe Certification Preferred or must be willing to acquire certification after hire. Ability to work cooperatively with all employees, students and parents. Familiar with and/or capable of learning cash register operations point of sale system. Punctual and excellent attendance record Good organizational skills. Ability to work independently, efficiently, quickly and accurately under tight time constraints Knowledge of Health Department Regulations for safe food handling and sanitation Knowledge of School Food Service Basics preferred Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job, including bending, twisting and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, ability to push on a regular basis, ability to push and/or pull loaded carts and stand for long periods of time without accommodations. Pre-placement physical screening to include agility will be required at the expense of the employer for new hires. Primary Responsibilities
Assist with general kitchen production including cooking and baking. Prepare, assist with set up, serving or cashiering and clean up for breakfast. Keep accurate records of production. Fill in for assistant cook when needed. Keep work space and equipment clean and organized. Capable of completing all general kitchen and baking duties efficiently; preparation; serving and clean up. Assist with serving line set up for meal service. Cashier or assist with serving during lunch periods. Assist with tear down and general clean up after meal service. Application of individual student deposits if necessary. Other duties which may be assigned.
