Overview The Front Desk Agent is responsible for providing exceptional guest service by assisting guests with check‑in, check‑out, and inquiries while maintaining a welcoming and professional atmosphere. This position plays a key role in ensuring guest satisfaction and smooth front desk operations during the evening shift from 4 PM to 12 AM.

Responsibilities

Greet and register guests and owners promptly and courteously.

Process guest check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently, ensuring accuracy in billing and reservation details.

Verify all guest information, including name, address, payment method, and stay details.

Coordinate with Housekeeping, Bell Services, and Reservations to fulfill guest needs and special requests.

Notify housekeeping of early check‑ins, late check‑outs, and same‑day arrivals.

Maintain thorough knowledge of room types, rates, and property layout.

Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, following all company cash‑handling procedures.

Respond to guest inquiries about resort amenities, events, and local attractions.

Maintain confidentiality and proper organization of guest records and sensitive documents.

Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally using proper telephone etiquette.

Monitor safety and security concerns; report any incidents, accidents, or suspicious activity.

Keep supervisors informed of any unusual situations or guest concerns.

Maintain a welcoming and professional atmosphere in the front desk area at all times.

Qualifications

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Must be willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Basic computer proficiency; knowledge of Microsoft Office a plus.

Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast‑paced environment.

Previous front desk or hospitality experience preferred but not required.

Familiarity with property management systems is an asset.
