THE POSITION As a Loss Prevention Leader, responsibilities include:
Awareness & Prevention:
Communicate, train, and educate security and loss prevention programs and strategies.
Ensure open and honest communication that safeguards employees, donors, and customers.
Support Goodwill’s drug‑free workplace and uphold core values.
Represent zero tolerance for harassment, substance abuse, workplace violence, medical incident reporting, theft, and related offenses.
Assess, create, and train loss prevention and asset protection strategies to determine effectiveness.
Facility Protection & Corporate Security:
Investigate disturbances such as alarm calls, unlawful intrusion, fires, and property damage.
Assist with integrity of facility physical security systems, including locks, key control, and alarms.
Manage all aspects of keys and alarm control access procedures.
Monitor facilities using video surveillance systems.
Partnership:
Partner with stakeholders and departmental leaders to ensure timely case closure.
Utilize Loss Prevention Support Helpdesk system to handle issues within SLA timelines.
Monitor digital video recordings and report operational or quality issues.
Respond to critical incidents and emergency situations.
Training:
Ensure 100% customer satisfaction during training delivery.
Lead new‑hire orientation and safety training.
Provide leadership feedback and coaching while on the field.
Assist in developing loss prevention training courses or content.

QUALIFICATIONS
Ability to provide one‑on‑one and group training and knowledge sharing.
Effective communication, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
Team building and business partnership skills.
Excellent conflict resolution, negotiation, and interview skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Strong public relations and customer service skills.
Technical proficiency with digital platforms and systems (RM/LP management, video systems).
Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding investigations and employee information.
Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships.
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
2–5 years of loss prevention/asset protection experience in a multi‑unit capacity preferred.
Minimum 2 years of CCTV, burglar, fire alarm maintenance/monitoring skills.
LPQ/LPC, Wicklander‑Zulawski Interview and Interrogation or other certification a plus.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Valid driver’s license and privately owned vehicle for travel within the Goodwill territory.
Occasional use of company vehicle under special circumstances.
Availability for flexible schedule including days, nights, and weekends.
Drug testing required for safety‑sensitive position.
May require access to facility keys and alarm systems.
