is seeking an experienced
Cake Decorator
with commissary experience to create high-quality, custom cakes and desserts. This role is hands-on and perfect for someone skilled in professional cake artistry who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
Key Responsibilities
Layer cakes, prepare icing, and decorate cakes to professional standards.
Assemble mousse and custom layer cakes per customer requests.
Work with fondant, chocolate, and various cake decorations, including piping and modeling.
Temper chocolate and create chocolate decorations as needed.
Safely operate kitchen equipment and maintain a clean work environment.
Collaborate effectively with team members to meet production demands.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a
commissary or commercial kitchen .
Skilled in cake decoration techniques: piping, icing, fondant modeling, glazing.
Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and allergen handling.
Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, and work in hot and cold environments.
Effective communication skills in English (Spanish a plus).
