PARKS & RECREATION LEADER I & II Part-Time (Up to 20 hours per week) Salary: Minimum $10 - $15 per hour Depending on Qualifications GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:
The position is part-time (up to 20 hours per week) created to assist in youth and adult athletic programs, including planning, organizing, and directing a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities throughout the week and weekends. Other duties include: Supervising sports leagues, events, and athletic rentals Providing overall site supervision at practice and game locations Ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all participants Knowing the rules of the sport or event supervised Setting up and tearing down equipment before and after games as needed Possessing knowledge of how to keep score at games or ability to learn Understanding and implementing BPRD rules, policies, and procedures Being responsible, punctual, and detail-oriented Performing physical labor tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs.) Working in all weather conditions Performing other duties as assigned by supervision Qualifications
Education requirement: Some experience in Parks and Recreation. Pre-employment drug screening and criminal background check will be required. Equal Opportunity Employer
