Primary Job Function
Drive concrete mixers to and from plant and work sites, carrying out the primary task of driving the ready mix truck and discharging load at various site conditions.
Maintain the cleanliness of the rig by hose‑down during transit and while at the plant.
Operate in uneven, slippery, and hazardous environments, using hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, and shovels.
Lift and move transports and equipment, regularly handling weights of 25–50 pounds, and occasionally up to 50 pounds when attaching extension chutes.
Adhere to company safety policies and DOT physical/drug screening requirements. Over‑time may be required.
Qualifications
Commercial driver’s license Class A or B with required endorsements.
Medical card (or ability to obtain one).
1–2 years of related experience or training (preferred).
No DUI’s within the last two years.
Strong communication skills, able to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
Good interpersonal skills, able to build respectful relationships with customers and staff.
