Location: Greater Houston Area What You’ll Need to Succeed
Truck Requirements :
Must own a
Power-Only Tractor
(no trailer required). Tractor should be in good condition and DOT-compliant.
Driver’s License :
Valid
CDL
license depending on your tractor setup.
Experience :
Open to all experience levels.
Compliance :
Must pass a background check and drug screening.
Position Details
Compensation : Depending on performance and hours worked. Contract Type :
1099 Independent Contractor
position. You’ll be leased onto our company, but you operate independently.
Route & Location :
This role is
local to the Greater Houston area . Amazon loads
with
drop-and-hook
operations at various local facilities.
Responsibilities
Drop-and-Hook Operations :
Handle Amazon loads with ease in a straightforward drop-and-hook setup. Pick up loaded trailers, deliver them, and hook back up to empty trailers for the next load.
Timeliness & Efficiency :
Ensure timely pickups and deliveries to meet Amazon’s high standards. Maintain a professional attitude and excellent communication with dispatchers and Amazon teams.
Truck Maintenance :
Perform routine inspections on your tractor to ensure it\'s in top working condition and compliant with DOT regulations.
Safety & Compliance :
Follow all safety protocols and FMCSA/DOT regulations to ensure safe and legal operation.
