Responsibilities
Test systems and components to ensure security and proper operation
Isolate potential causes of problems
Drive vehicles for testing, inspect, and refill fluids as needed
Ensure proper tire pressure, clean and lubricate fittings
Install new oil drain plugs and filters, communicate oil levels
Diagnose and repair vehicles efficiently and accurately
Replace worn parts proactively to prevent breakdowns
Use power tools, machine tools, and hand tools for various tasks
Qualifications
Deep understanding of automobiles and diagnostic skills
Effective analytical and communication skills
Ability to learn new technology, procedures, and specifications
Operate electronic diagnostic equipment
High School Diploma or GED (required)
ASE Certification/Technical degree (preferred)
At least one year in a service department
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
