Basic PC/Outlook skills Retail Management Certificate The Opportunity
The Service Clerk reports to the Store Manager/Senior Assistant Manager and is responsible for maintaining carts, assisting customers with purchases and loading to their cars as requested, checking prices, returning merchandise to shelves, and keeping the parking lot and store area maintained. Specific Duties Include
Collect and organize shopping carts within the store and retrieve carts from the parking lot and surrounding areas. Assist customers with loading merchandise into shopping carts and loading into their vehicles. Check retail prices on shelves for check stand personnel. Return merchandise to proper shelves, walk aisles to place items in correct locations, and face merchandise as needed. Monitor cleanliness of store entrance including sweeping and trash removal; mop walkways and clean doors daily. Monitor cleanliness of store throughout the day: sweep, mop, and clean and restock restrooms as needed.
