About the Role Support daily member transactions, maintain accurate cash drawer, & cross‑sell credit union products.
Job Scope & Duties
Perform member transactions: deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, cash advances, bond redemptions, gift card purchases, sub‑account openings & closings.
Accurately maintain, safeguard, & balance cash drawer & negotiable instruments.
Answer member inquiries on products, services, fees, & promotions.
Prepare daily branch opening/closing, stop‑payment requests, CTRs, password updates, & wire requests.
Cross‑sell appropriate credit union products to meet member needs.
Assist other branches & departments as needed.
Experience / Minimum Education Requirements
One year of cash handling experience.
Six months of teller experience at a credit union or financial institution preferred.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
Proficiency with technology (computers, iPads, mobile phones, tablets) & Microsoft Office.
Ability to learn & retain banking regulatory information.
Strong team player & ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
Must have good credit.
Hours Monday–Thursday 8:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m.; Friday 8:45 a.m.–6:30 p.m.; rotating Saturdays 8:30 a.m.–2:45 p.m. (one day off during the week).
Salary & Compensation $46,400 – $63,950 base pay. Compensation based on qualifications.
