The Retail Service Specialist will support the Store Manager and Assistant Managers in sales, customer service, store appearance, and operations. This position will also assume shift management responsibilities in the absence of the Assistant or Store Manager. Essential Job Functions: Lead store team members in providing excellent customer service to retail and professional customers. Supervise customer service levels in the retail showroom, including execution of customer service programs. Answer telephone calls according to company policy. Process buy online/ship to store, transfers, and add orders promptly; contact customers upon shipment arrivals as needed. Handle special orders and outside purchases efficiently, using electronic ledger. Process retail customer returns and exchanges friendly and efficiently; issue refunds accurately; stage returned merchandise correctly. Ensure all merchandise, including core charges and warranties, are invoiced before leaving the store. Communicate Zipline messages, delegate merchandising tasks, and complete assigned duties. Adhere to work schedules, obtain management approval for deviations, and ensure proper clock-ins/outs. Perform store opening/closing duties, including end procedures, deposits, security checks, and vehicle security. Perform other duties as assigned. Skills/Education/Knowledge/Experience/Abilities: Required: Strong communication skills Ability to obtain RSS Certification Desired: Retail sales experience, preferably in auto parts Automotive systems and repair knowledge ASE Certification Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish highly desired) O’Reilly Auto Parts offers a proven track record of growth, stability, and career advancement opportunities.
