Position Summary Under minimal supervision, an Order Picker Forklift operator is responsible for safe and proper movement of palletized products to, within and out of their assigned department. The position also serves as back‑up support for other departments when needed.

Primary Accountabilities

Deliver palletized products to the designated area using a Order Picker Forklift in a timely and safe manner.

Locate or relocate product within the department as directed.

Unload and load trucks when required.

Build or re‑stack pallet loads as needed.

Utilize the warehouse management system that manages product inventory within the facility.

Inspect Order Picker and related equipment daily and complete a daily log.

Manage the Order Picker battery watering system.

Back up Order Picker operators in other departments as assigned.

Communicate with leads, supervisors, managers, and customers.

Identify and/or troubleshoot issues with equipment or product locations.

Escalate issues that cannot be solved to the appropriate parties in accordance with guidelines.

Perform other tasks as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

Comply with all policies and standards.

Required Qualifications

High School diploma (or equivalent) required.

1–3 years of experience in a warehouse or production job, or an equivalent combination of experience and training.

Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Ability to operate or learn to operate an Order Picker, Order Picker Scan gun or gladiator, and a pallet jack.

Able to push a cart or hand truck up to 100 yards.

Ability to work with heights.

Working knowledge of computers and ability to read in English.

Able to follow standard operation and safety procedures.

Able to work in an environment that is not climate controlled.

Able to work under time pressure and meet production goals; will work more than 8 hours per day (overtime) as needed.

Able to assist with other operations within the warehouse as needed.

Able to handle hazardous waste materials with appropriate safety measures.

Bilingual a plus (Spanish/English).

Salary & Compensation Pay Rate: $17.10 per hour. Incremental pay increases are provided at 3 months and 12 months of employment. This is a non‑exempt, hourly role eligible for overtime in accordance with federal and state laws.

Eligible employees may receive safety bonuses based on meeting defined performance and compliance requirements and shift differentials where applicable.
