Assistant Mechanic - Ocean Forest Golf Course Maintenance (Full-Time) Join to apply for the Assistant Mechanic role at Sea Island Company.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Mechanic with repairs, building, ordering parts, and maintaining golf course equipment.
Perform regular preventative maintenance of equipment and tools.
Keep detailed records on all equipment and handle chemicals safely following MSDS procedures.
Uphold Sea Island hospitality while ensuring compliance with all company and departmental policies and procedures.
Drive a company vehicle as required, with a valid Georgia Driver’s License and favorable driving history.
Qualifications
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Proficiency with a variety of riding and power-driven machinery and equipment, as well as power hand tools and manual hand tools.
Detail-oriented with ability to manage competing priorities and multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to working days, early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
