Overview
Audi North Scottsdale, a Penske Automotive Group dealership, is seeking a motivated and hard‑working Parts Runner to join our team and deliver extraordinary customer experiences.
Responsibilities The Parts Runner is responsible for providing customer service and sales assistance in accordance with company policy. Acts as the primary interface with retail and wholesale customers as well as service department employees to sell required parts and accessories. Additionally, the Parts Runner tracks and supplies parts to complete vehicle service repairs. The role requires operating computers to document repair parts charged to correct repair orders, performing spot inventory, and ensuring accurate and timely parts delivery.
Qualities & Competencies
Ability to deliver requested parts to areas throughout the dealership or via delivery vehicles.
Good customer service skills.
Ability to understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that affect the parts department, including but not limited to hazardous waste disposal, emergency response, safe driving and OSHA Right‑to‑Know.
Ability to ensure use of proper safety equipment.
Computer proficiency.
Excellent communication skills both oral and written with the ability to effectively communicate via face‑to‑face, phone, or by other means of communication.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Ability to process data and organize it for management analysis.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to understand and follow work rules and procedures.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Ability to interact well with others and be a positive influence on morale of department, dealership and organization.

Physical Demands Medium/Heavy work requires lifting over 50 pounds with an assistance device and frequent lifting or carrying of objects weighing up to or over 35 pounds with an assistance device available as needed. The position requires prolonged standing, pushing, pulling, climbing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, grasping and walking. Ability to hear, talk and perform repetitive motion throughout the day. May work outside in extreme cold and heat.

Required Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent and one year related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
