Seaton Paving & Sitework Inc is seeking an experienced self‑motivated Finish Grader Operator to help run our dirt crew. The Finish Grader/Crew Leader is pivotal in overseeing our projects from start to finish. Must have Experience! This is not an entry level position!

Can Do Attitude and good work ethic. Experienced finish grader. Supervise/direct crew members in proper techniques and practices required to complete work safely, efficiently and on schedule. Excellent communication skills. Capable of following directions from management on job completion. Also communicate objectives to our crew. Read and interpret plans/specifications to complete work in accordance with requirements. Measure using methods such as string line, measuring tapes or laser level. Observe safety procedures and report any potential unsafe conditions to management. Good knowledge of traffic and safety rules and regulations. Thorough knowledge and working understanding of how to calculate and track daily quantities pertaining to all types of materials including base rock and fill. Inspect equipment prior to use and at the end of shift. Maintain equipment. Report any equipment issues to management. When not operating motorized equipment, work as a laborer or semi‑skilled laborer as assigned. Work outdoors in Florida environment. Ability to accept responsibility. Physically able to perform duties. Requirements
Proven experience as a heavy equipment operator. Minimum 3‑5 years of experience with a solid working knowledge of excavation. Excellent leadership and supervisory skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Must have a valid FL driver’s license with a good driving record. Good attendance and safety record.
