Parts Specialist

Compensation Pay Range: $11.13 - $20.00 per hour.

Essential Job Functions
Follow and promote all company customer service programs, e.g., Hi-5, Low Price Guarantee, Rock the Call, Related Selling, Rock the Lot.
Promptly greet retail/walk-in customers and assist them in selecting merchandise.
Assist managers or installer service specialists with professional customer service.
Complete assigned company training relevant to the position.
Provide excellent service to customers calling the store, answering all calls, accurately looking up parts, quoting prices, and offering Low-Price Guarantee.
Accurately maintain and secure the cash drawer, accept cash or checks, make change, and process credit card transactions.
Process exchanges and returns for credit in a friendly manner, following company policies.
Address and resolve customer complaints amicably.
Assist with completion of daily imaging maker and planogram updates, freight receipt, stocking shelves, fronting, facing, and cleaning.
Perform various daily operations: prepare new, core, and warranty merchandise returns to be shipped, assist with monthly stock adjustments, inventory cycle counts.
Operate brake lathe and other store test equipment after training.
Perform in-store services for customers as permitted: install wipers, test and charge batteries, test charging system, scan vehicle trouble codes, replace headlight capsules.
Occasionally drive a delivery vehicle when business needs dictate, meeting driving eligibility requirements.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Skills, Education, Knowledge, Experience, Abilities
Ability to quickly match alphanumeric sequences.
Provide outstanding, friendly, professional customer service.
Multitasking – handle customers on phone and in store simultaneously.
Familiar with automotive parts, cataloging, weatherly index system, and automotive sales or service (desired).
ASE certification (desired).
Fluency in multiple languages, especially Spanish (desired).
Valid driving record meeting company mandated eligibility.
