Your Role Serve as the customer service / inside‑sales interface between the customer and Bay Advanced Technologies. Process PACE inventory, customer order transactions, and inquiries with minimal supervision using P21, M2M, and other software tools. Collaborate with Field Sales Representatives for joint customer visits, contract pricing, and inventory management. Act as the primary contact for all PACE‑related functions.
Position Responsibilities
Work with our largest customer to manage supply of product for a consigned inventory program
Coordinate with the internal shipping logistics department to ensure customer satisfaction
Coordinate with inventory control to maintain the integrity of inventory at consigned locations
Coordinate directly with customer representatives to resolve inventory issues and ensure satisfaction
Perform PACE cycle count electronically, typically weekly, to keep all parts counted up to two times per year
Process sales orders for parts used by the customer (PACE pulls)
Check price and stock for customer requests
Interact with Outside Sales regarding contract quotes
Check voicemail messages and respond to customers
Expedite PACE released parts that have backorders with purchasing and production teams
Create and manage the PACE back‑order report daily
Provide tracking information or proof of delivery when requested by the customer
Essential Skills and Experience
2–4 years of related work experience
General knowledge of sales‑order processing and standard inventory practices
High percentage of work computer‑based using ERP systems and Excel
Proficient with Windows, Outlook, Internet Explorer, Adobe, and good keyboarding skills
Advanced Excel knowledge and proficiency
Required education: High School Diploma or GED (Associate’s Degree preferred).
