Underground Utility Operator

Underground Utility Operator Reports To: Regional Manager Overview: The Underground Utility Operator is responsible for operating a variety of equipment and machinery to assist with the installation of underground utilities. Key Responsibilities: Operate machinery for underground utility installation Read and interpret site drawings and utility maps Perform tasks such as digging, trenching, and backfilling Conduct site restoration after utility installation Ensure safety protocols are followed while operating equipment Equipment Utilized: Locators Mini Excavators Skit Loaders Hydro-Vacs Tampers Jack Hammers Dozers Backhoes Qualifications: Valid Driver’s License Experience running machinery Ability to read site drawings and utility maps Basic knowledge and ability to operate hand tools safely and effectively Ability to travel Ability to obtain a Class A Commercial Driver’s License Ability to work in all weather conditions Lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.
