Opportunity Summary
Compensation: $23.00 - $32.00/hour
Inside Parts Counter Representatives are responsible for processing, pulling, and delivering or shipping parts to the shop or customer to ensure all work scheduled is completed promptly and to the customer's satisfaction.
Job Duties
Process and locate unit parts for internal and external customers.
Verify part numbers in the appropriate books via electronic records to ensure accuracy.
Perform cycle counts and record data, reporting any variances to management.
Monitor inventory levels and research any data inconsistencies.
Assist service shop and mobile technicians in identifying parts necessary for repairs.
Track daily use of parts and receiving of orders.
Create purchase orders (POs) for weekly stock orders and report to the manager.
Nurture and maintain relationships with the company's vendors and suppliers.
Maintain appropriate inventory readiness and warehouse organization and cleanliness.
Ensure shop and mobile trucks are properly stocked and remove obsolete parts as necessary.
Work Experience & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of heavy‑duty trucks and trailer parts.
Excellent verbal and written communication.
Computer and software skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
