Utility / Service Employee – Elmira, NY. Transdev is hiring a Utility Worker/Service Employee to perform basic vehicle servicing duties. We are looking for customer service‑oriented professionals who are dedicated to safety. Transdev is proud to offer: CBA Position and Pay: Starting pay: $18.00 with progression to $19.81 over 3 years (Union Collective Bargaining Agreement Pay Scale) Benefits include: Vacation: up to 5 weeks per year after 15 years of service Fully covered Teamster medical, dental & vision (no weekly out of pocket cost). Paid Sick Leave, Personal Days and no pay days; pension and holidays. Key Responsibilities

Light duty repairs General garage maintenance Maintain the cleanliness of fleet vehicles – interior and exterior Driving, maneuvering, and parking vehicles Fueling buses, replenishing fluids, and logging and recording all fluids Downloading drive cameras and probes fare boxes Perform light maintenance to shop areas, fueling stations, and related facilities Report maintenance issues to supervisor Other duties as required Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license for a minimum of 3 years Ability to work shifts or flexible schedules as needed Subject to a DOT drug test and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 prohibits the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason. Physical Requirements

Work outside in varying temperatures and weather conditions; 100% of the job is outside, including work alone and in remote locations Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk long distances on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds; lift up to 50 lbs; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to access equipment Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing duties; tolerate exposure to dust, vehicle fumes and noise Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
