Our client, a leading organization in the warehousing and distribution industry, is seeking a dedicated Order Processor to join their team. As an Order Processor, you will be an essential part of the Warehouse/Distribution department supporting the efficient flow of materials and products. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization. Job Title: Order ProcessorLocation: Hanover Park, ILPay Range: $17.5Shift: Monday – Friday, 7am-3:30pm (flex start time) – No Weekends!
What’s the Job?
Count and verify items against order tickets to ensure accuracy
Inspect and examine all materials and shipments for quality issues, overages, or shortages, and report findings to supervisors
Participate in routing, counting, and inspecting items during loading and unloading processes
Select products and process orders accurately using manual methods and computerized warehouse management systems
Ensure that staged and stored products are placed in safe areas at appropriate heights, adhering to safety guidelines
What’s Needed?
Ability to read and write in English effectively
Basic math skills for counting and verifying items
Ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
Physical ability to lift up to 20 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds
Capability to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods and operate at heights up to 50 feet
