Parts Order Specialist
Location: Wadena, MN; Onsite and full-time
Schedule: Mon–Fri, 8am – 5pm
Compensation: $18–$23/hr DOE + benefits (health, PTO) About the Role We’re looking for a detail-obsessed Parts Order Specialist to help customers get the right part the first time. You’ll identify parts, build quotes, place sales orders, track backorders, and deliver friendly, proactive service across phone, email, and web orders. What You’ll Do Identify & quote partsusing diagrams, parts manuals, and BOMs; confirm compatibility by model/VIN/SN. Own the order lifecycle:create sales orders, resolve backorders, and process RMAs/returns. Customer service:answer phones/emails/chats; provide status updates and ETA’s; suggest substitutions when items are backordered. E-commerce flow:process website/marketplace orders, print pick tickets, pack/ship, and upload tracking. Documentation:keep clean notes on orders, alternates, and warranty requirements. You Have 1–3+ years in a parts counter/parts ordering role (automotive, powersports, heavy equipment, lawn & garden, or industrial). Strong mechanical aptitude; you enjoy reading parts diagrams and troubleshooting substitutions. Solid computer skills: fast typing, accurate data entry, and comfort with spreadsheets. Shipping/receiving basics (UPS/FedEx labels, dimensional weight). Professional phone/email etiquette and a calm, solution-first mindset.
