The
Retail Activation Supervisor
is responsible for leading and managing field marketing teams that execute premium in-store activations within convenience, liquor, and independent retail channels. This role supports revenue growth by driving consumer trial, conversion, and brand loyalty through impactful retail activations, ensuring flawless execution, brand compliance, and achievement of KPI targets through effective supervision, training, and reporting. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, combines operational discipline with creativity, and drives measurable consumer engagement aligned with brand objectives. Key Responsibilities
Recruit, train, and supervise brand ambassadors and promotional staff for in-store activations and product sampling events. Develop weekly schedules and ensure full coverage of assigned activation sites. Provide on-site coaching, motivation, and performance feedback to ensure brand standards are consistently upheld. Activation Execution
Oversee the operations of in-store activations, ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations. Guarantee that merchandising, display materials, and product samples are properly presented and aligned with brand guidelines. Troubleshoot logistical issues and act as the primary point of contact for field staff during activations. Ensure activations are tracked and data is captured for analysis. Performance Management & Reporting
Monitor daily KPIs such as consumer engagements, trial conversions, sales uplift, and compliance scores. Prepare post-event reports including photos, metrics, and qualitative insights. Communicate field feedback and competitive observations to management for continuous improvement. Leverage digital tools for real-time KPI tracking and reporting. Stakeholder & Retail Relations
Build and maintain strong relationships with sales area managers, store managers, distributors, and local retail partners. Ensure all activations support brand positioning and retail objectives. Collaborate with sales teams to align activation strategies with sales targets. Represent the brand at local industry events and trade shows as needed. Compliance & Safety
Ensure all team members adhere to brand, legal, and safety protocols during activations. Conduct regular audits of equipment, materials, and site readiness. Report and document any incidents or issues following company procedures. Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related field. 3+ years of experience in field marketing, retail activations, or event supervision (tobacco, alcohol, or beverage industry experience preferred). Proven leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate field staff. Strong understanding of retail operations, consumer engagement, and KPI tracking. Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Fluent in English (Spanish a plus). Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation within South Florida region. This is a
multi-market field-based position
covering the Southeast and Gulf regions (Atlanta, Tampa, Jacksonville, New Orleans, Houston, Dallas, Cincinnati). Requires approximately
40% travel , including regular market visits, overnight stays, and weekend activations or regional events. Candidate must be based in or near a major market hub with convenient airport access. Compensation & Benefits
Base Salary Range: $70,000 plus bonus The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary range for this position. Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of ICC’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards include quarterly bonus.
