Responsibilities
Provide excellent customer service and assist customers.
Clean, fill, and rotate perishable produce displays.
Maintain proper product presentation and information on labeling and pricing.
Work under direct supervision of the Produce Manager.
Lift up to 60 lbs and perform tasks requiring bending, standing, and stooping for extended periods.
Qualifications
Read and comprehend simple written instructions, product labels, and shelf tags.
Write simple correspondence.
Effectively present information to customers and coworkers.
Apply common sense in carrying out detailed written or oral instructions.
Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, frequently up to 45 lbs, and occasionally up to 60 lbs.
Basic PC/Outlook skills (preferred).
Retail Management Certificate (preferred).
Additional Information Under direct supervision of the Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk plays a key role in ensuring a pleasant customer experience.
