Responsibilities
Coordinate with Drafting Manager & Project Manager to ensure project requirements are met in the office and field.
Process field data and perform initial CAD drafting on land survey deliverables.
Perform quality control (QC) assistance and review based on client‑specific deliverables; monitor field crew data for QA.
Evaluate accuracy and sufficiency of field data; ensure compliance to applicable regulations, professional and industry standards related to boundary calculations, legal descriptions, etc.
Perform deed research, deed plotting, and map checks.
Prepare land survey plats, drawings, legal descriptions, and alignment drawings.
Provide technical office support for Survey Field Crew Manager.
Perform QC checks of plats and drawings developed by peers.
Ensure schedules and productivity objectives for preparation of land survey plats and drawings are reached.
Daily processing of data.
Qualifications
Demonstrated project experience in drafting management for both mid‑ to large‑scale projects.
Strong proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Carlson C&G, Microstation, Trimble Business Center, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Professional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to proactively request supporting information and/or documentation from clients.
Ability to identify, troubleshoot issues, and solve problems.
Ability to work successfully within a team environment.
Punctual attendance and a polite, positive disposition.
Demonstrated proactive characteristics and safety‑conscious mindset.
Drive to meet or exceed aggressive deadlines while maintaining teamwork and collaboration with clients, team members, and sub‑consultants.
