We are seeking a detail-oriented and self-motivated Wireless QA Engineer to support testing efforts for wireless technologies, including Speed Boost and SMH projects.
The ideal candidate will have experience with functional and API testing, a strong understanding of networking concepts, and familiarity with wireless devices such as routers and modems.
This role requires adaptability, collaboration, and a passion for quality assurance and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and sanity testing for wireless projects.
Perform API testing using tools such as Postman and SOAP.
Analyze system requirements and documentation to develop and maintain test cases.
Work with wireless devices including routers and modems.
Utilize tools such as JIRA, Octane, TestRail, HP ALM, Splunk, and Datadog for test management and analysis.
Apply Agile and Waterfall methodologies in testing processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality and timely delivery of features.
Required Qualifications:
Experience in functional and API testing. Familiarity with wireless devices (e.g., routers, modems). Strong understanding of networking concepts including IPv4, IPv6, and subnetting. Ability to write, execute, and maintain test cases. Experience with test management and monitoring tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail, Splunk, Datadog). Exposure to Agile and Waterfall development methodologies. Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with similar tools is acceptable; emphasis is on adaptability and foundational QA knowledge. Passion for testing and continuous improvement.
