Continuous Improvement Specialist
Stark Aerospace is seeking a Continuous Improvement Specialist to develop, implement, and maintain a robust Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma program to drive measurable performance improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and maintain a robust Continuous Improvement and Lean Six Sigma program to drive measurable performance improvements.
Facilitate CI events and activities that deliver tailored value to customers and positively impact company KPIs.
Collaborate with functional leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and quality enhancement.
Act as a change agent, coaching and influencing employees and leadership to adopt CI methodologies and sustain improvement efforts.
Train employees on Lean tools and methods, including root cause analysis, problem-solving, and waste reduction.
Analyze cost drivers and propose alternative solutions that reduce expenses while maintaining operational efficiency.
Support and track CI initiatives and projects, ensuring alignment with company strategic objectives.
Support the implementation of shop floor management strategies, including Visual Management, Cell Design, and Material Flow optimization.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical field.
3–5+ years of experience in continuous improvement, Lean manufacturing, or quality improvement roles.
Demonstrated success in diagnosing root causes and driving sustainable performance improvements.
Strong change management and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence across multiple levels and departments.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience in the aerospace or defense industry.
Working knowledge of AS9100 Rev D quality standards.
Professional certifications such as Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Black Belt, or equivalent CI certification.
