Overview
Stock Clerk position on a federal AbilityOne contract that requires that most work hours are performed by employees with disabilities. This onsite role is located at PRIDE Industries and offers a wage of $18.93 per hour. Responsibilities
Verifies inbound shipments against packing slips and issues parts to fulfill service order requests. Uses inventory software to process receipt and movement of materials. Sorts or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt against requisitions or invoices, and checks stock against specifications. Stores articles in bins, on floors or shelves according to material identification to maintain organization and efficiency. Fills orders or issues supplies from stock, conducts periodic or perpetual inventories, and requisitions articles to fulfill orders. Fills pick tickets and records changes in the system. Loads and unloads freight, sorts and stacks materials for palletization. Inspects materials for proper packaging and maintains integrity of bin locations; restacks or removes excess packaging as needed. Compiles reports on stock handling equipment use, location changes, and shipment refusals. Performs tasks common to the material handler role and distributes stock to production workers as needed, keeping records of material issued. Processes real-time transactions for moving materials using RFID/RF scan technology. Occasional local travel to other facilities may be required. Performs other duties and special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
One year of clerical or customer service experience is desirable, preferably in receiving or warehousing. Excellent time management skills. Familiarity with receiving processes and procedures preferred. Experience operating a forklift, RF Scan Gun, and other material handling equipment preferred. Computer literacy and ability to look up and enter information using a computer. Ability to learn specialized software related to departmental operations. Strong communication skills to provide procedural and factual information and respond to questions from customers and coworkers. Customer service skills to respond to inquiries and escalate difficult matters appropriately. Knowledge of basic business English including vocabulary and spelling. Mathematical ability including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Flexibility to adapt to changing work priorities. Demonstrated organizational, problem-solving and common-sense skills. Education
High School Diploma or GED Certificates or Licenses

Work is primarily performed at a customer’s location in an office/shop environment with limited privacy and some exposure to background noise and/or noise from equipment. Travel to other sites may be required. Employees may be exposed to extreme cold or heat. How To Apply
