As a
Shipping & Receiving Clerk , you'll have responsibility in ensuring incoming materials are routed properly and our finished product is sent back to our customers in a timely manner.
What You'll Do
Receive and verify new or serviceable parts, including separation of customer parts, engine accessories, return items, purchase order materials, and inputs into shop items received for proper routing and storage.
Complete receiving and inspection reports for all parts to include verification of serial numbers and initial condition of components/parts.
Perform miscellaneous clerical and statistical assignments.
Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of the job.
Perform stock room functions such as stocking, issuing, receiving and verifying parts with all necessary documents/tags.
May deliver parts input into shop & engines & all stock inventory issued to shop from stock room.
Verify counts of pieces/boxes delivered from carriers at time items delivered.
Verify and notify authorized personnel of damaged items by documenting the time of delivery/receipt.
Scan, verify and document records of shipping and receiving.
Basic Qualifications
One or more years of shipping and/or receiving experience.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds for approximately 25% of the average workday.
High school diploma or GED (General Educational Development).
Desired Skills
Well organized with attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Ability to think outside the box when solving problems.
