Job Summary and Responsibilities Assess, deliver, and document respiratory care, including pulmonary hygiene and airway management, and perform diagnostic exams as necessary. Manage all patients on ventilators and related life support equipment. Perform routine blood gas analysis. Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care plans utilizing multiple respiratory modalities, respiratory therapy-driven protocols, and advanced ventilation techniques.

Perform full range of basic respiratory care for all patient populations.

Perform and document a complete patient assessment including vital signs, breath sounds, cough, and respiratory pattern with each ventilator system check and treatment.

Check all equipment and respiratory modalities (including invasive and non-invasive), maintain alarms and document accurately and completely.

Perform ABGs using two patient identifiers, properly handle blood specimens, report critical values, and maintain blood gas lab logs where applicable.

Accurately complete patient billing.

Correctly charge, label, scan, and discard medications.

Job Requirements

Bachelor’s or equivalent education in respiratory therapy; or graduate of an AMA Respiratory Therapy Program.

Respiratory Care Practitioner: AZ (RESP-LIC:AZ).

Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT).

American Heart Association Basic Life Support – CPR (BLS-CPR).

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – preferred.

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) – preferred.

Pay Range $30.91 – $45.98 /hour
