Job Description The IS&T Asset Management Analyst provides data and process analysis in all aspects of the asset management process. This requires knowledge of the hardware asset lifecycle from request to disposal and assisting in converting the output of the data analysis into executive dashboard and presentation views.
Experience
2 years of experience in information technology processes
1 year experience in computer operations
Intermediate to advanced level Excel skills
Experience with ITSM database tools e.g. ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy
Preferred Qualifications
High level familiarity with ITSM processes
Strong experience with Excel and working with data sets
Experience with ServiceNow’s asset management module
Proficiency with ServiceNow reporting and dashboard creation capability
Experience in business process management, including writing processes, and process improvement plans
Experience with other configuration management tools such as SCCM, Splunk, Qualys, etc
Visio experience
Asset management software experience
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Finance, or equivalent field preferred, or equivalent experience
Certification Summary

Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
Knowledge of inventory process and controls including asset tagging and data cleansing
Having advanced data analytic skills including experience with comparing data sets between multiple sources, ability to use formulas, pivot tables and Power Query
Demonstrating time management and organizational skills including ability to prioritize competing demands
Assessing, prioritizing, and applying the simplest process or solution to meet the business need is necessary
Communicating effectively in both oral and written form
Demonstrating familiarity with hardware asset management vendors and processes
Job Responsibilities
Perform the operations of the Information Systems & Technology asset management and inventory management function.
Define and perform periodic audits to ensure process adherence and data quality.
Identify process improvement opportunities and lead initiatives to enact them.
Deliver process documentation on what is required to effectively manage our hardware assets including metrics and measurements of effectiveness.
Manage hardware inventory at stockrooms, ensuring product is asset-controlled and managed.
Assist with periodic hardware refresh activities, including planning, forecasting, and budgeting.
Organize and review assets for disposal to ensure they are properly reported and documented.
Develop and deliver training to team members to ensure that appropriate asset management processes are followed.
