Overview
Eventide- Fargo is currently looking for a part time Universal Worker to work 48 hours per pay period in Senior Living. This position will work from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and includes a holiday rotation and every other weekend. Responsibilities
Assists with ADLs - bathing, dressing and grooming. Assist residents with ambulation and/or therapeutic exercises. Observe and/or assist with medications, ordinarily self administered. May give oral, trans-dermal patches eye drops, topical ointments and suppositories under the direction of the nurse. Read and record temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight. Provide adequate nutrition and fluid intake. Performs blood sugar testing and documents results. Socialize with residents. Listen, converse and participate in appropriate activities – reading mail, writing letters, etc. Develop a rapport with residents and families to develop an understanding of the residents’ needs and interests. Document in resident records as instructed and in a timely manner. Participate in the development, implementation and review of resident’s plan of care. Comply with infection control policies and procedures. Other tasks as assigned or instructed by a licensed nurse. Qualifications
High School Diploma required. A current North Dakota Certified Nursing Assistant license is required. A current Certified Medication Aide I is preferred or willing to obtain. Schedule
