Compensation Base pay range: $54,964.76/yr – $54,964.76/yr.

Annual Salary Clarification:

Non-Bilingual: $52,964.76; Bilingual: $54,964.76 (per Collective Bargaining Agreement).

Work Hours & Shift 35 Total hours: Tuesday‑Friday 12:00 pm‑8:00 pm and Saturday 9:00 am‑5:00 pm.

FLSA Status:

Non‑Exempt (eligible for OT per business needs).

Company Overview Building Services 32BJ Benefit Funds is the umbrella organization responsible for administering Health, Pension, Retirement Savings, Training, and Legal Services benefits to over 100,000 SEIU 32BJ members. Our mission is to make significant contributions to the lives of our members by providing high‑quality benefits and services.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Collect and analyze data/information to resolve problems in real time at high volume standards.

Provide customer service to participants, resolving eligibility or Fund benefit issues.

Display proficiency with all processing systems: eligibility process, Health benefits system, COOL/V3/DYNAMICS system, CRM/WF, and vendor systems.

Handle inquiries through vendors, Medical, Optical, Pharmacy, Dental, and Employee Assistance.

Follow workflows to resolve participant questions and ensure compliance with MSR Quality measurement objectives and performance standards.

Analyze and interpret customer phone and written correspondence, operating computers with multiple information screens.

Maintain own inventory of work accumulated through participant interactions and inquiries, including complaints or eligibility, enrollment, benefits, claims, and Pension related issues.

Perform any other relevant duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications

High School diploma; some college preferred. Health Care, Employee Benefits, and/or Customer Service experience strongly preferred.

Strong computer skills with proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Windows.

Detailed knowledge of benefits as displayed in training and examined through subject matter experts, utilizing OneView, vendor systems, COOL/V3/DYNAMICS, and CRM processing system.

Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and manipulate multiple software programs and macros simultaneously.

Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.

Excellent organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking abilities.

Experience working directly with customers and demonstrating customer service orientation.

Bilingual language skills are a plus; fluent in Spanish required for the role.

Reasoning ability above average; no disciplinary actions.
