Child Welfare Assistant , Monday through Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Under the general supervision of the program director or designee, perform a variety of social work, group and outreach activities to individuals and families. Benefits And Perks

Perform all tasks as required in the written plan. Meet productivity requirements as established by the program director or designee. Provide client monitoring and linkage to appropriate services both within LSSI and other community agencies. Complete and submit all necessary reports, billing, and documentation accurately and on time as required by agency and funding sources. Communicate with supervisor, work group and collateral agencies regarding individual's and /or family's needs. Position Qualifications

High school diploma (or GED) required. AA Degree with two years of college preferred. Age requirement may apply. Record of compliance with the law and clearance on the Illinois CANTS. Basic knowledge of child development and parenting or equivalent life experience preferred. Demonstrate ability to communicate both verbally and in writing in a clear, comprehensible manner. Valid driver's license in good standing for the state of residency required. Access to reliable transportation for visits, meetings, and to transport clients as needed. Valid IL statutory minimum liability insurance coverage, bodily injury, and property damage. Seniority level
