Overview
The Landscape Foreman is responsible for overseeing daily operations on landscape projects, managing crews, ensuring quality work, and delivering excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership, hands-on experience in landscaping, and the ability to manage time and resources efficiently.
Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of landscape installation and maintenance crews
Interpret landscape plans and ensure projects are executed to specification
Operate and maintain landscaping equipment and tools
Manage crew performance, delegate tasks, and ensure safety protocols are followed
Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and team members
Monitor job progress, manage materials, and keep accurate records of hours and materials used
Train new crew members and promote a positive team environment
Qualifications
3+ years of landscape experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory role
Strong knowledge of landscape installation (planting, hardscaping, irrigation, etc.)
Ability to read and interpret landscape blueprints and site plans
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Valid driver’s license (CDL a plus)
Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift 50+ lbs regularly
Compensation Compensation:
$50,000 - $65,000 yearly
