Overview

Experienced Window & Door Installer

is responsible for the professional removal and installation of residential windows and doors, ensuring top-tier workmanship, jobsite safety, and a great customer experience. You’ll perform rough/finish carpentry, flashing and caulking, trim work, cleanup, and job documentation. What You’ll Do

Prepare each job site: protect work areas, confirm materials, review the scope, and communicate with the homeowner Safely remove existing windows/doors; install replacement units per manufacturer specs and Woodland standards Perform rough & finish carpentry: shimming, squaring, fastening, flashing, caulking, insulation, interior/exterior trim Install products level and square to ensure weather-tight, code-compliant results Complete site teardown and cleanup; haul away debris as needed Use hand/power tools safely and efficiently; maintain tools and company vehicle cleanliness Document work (materials, time, photos, signatures) accurately and on time Coach and support apprentices/assistants; model Woodland’s safety & quality expectations Communicate professionally with homeowners; answer basic product/maintenance questions; escalate when needed Comply with OSHA, state/local codes, and Woodland safety rules at all times Minimum Qualifications

3+ years professional window and/or door installation (replacement preferred) Strong rough & finish carpentry skills; able to read a tape/rule, square, and levels; follow layout lines precisely Proficient with flashing, caulking, insulation, shimming, and trim for a weather-tight, clean finish Solid problem-solving on retrofit conditions (out-of-square openings, rotted framing, atypical substrates) Professional communication and customer-service skills on active residential jobsites Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; able to drive company vehicles Ability to obtain/maintain a DOT medical card if driving DOT-regulated vehicles (some routes) Bilingual English/Spanish a plus Physical Demands & Work Environment

Frequently lift, carry, and maneuver 50+ lbs (team-lifts for heavier units) Work on ladders, scaffolding, and at heights with proper fall protection Stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods; work indoors/outdoors in varying weather Use required PPE and follow all Woodland safety procedures Tools & Technology

Competent with hand/power carpentry tools (saws, drills, routers, planers) Smartphone/tablet for schedules, photos, job documentation, and homeowner signatures Equal Opportunity Employer.
