Our esteemed facility is dedicated to providing exceptional care and service in a clean and welcoming environment. We believe that every team member contributes significantly to the overall well-being and satisfaction of our residents. We are currently seeking a dedicated Laundry Aide to join our dynamic team.
The Laundry Aide will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our laundry services. This position involves handling, washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and garments to ensure they are prepared for use. The successful candidate will demonstrate attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
Collect and sort soiled linens and garments from designated areas.
Operate washing and drying equipment following prescribed cycles and processes.
Monitor laundry machines to ensure proper functioning and notify maintenance of any issues.
Fold, stack, and organize clean laundry for distribution.
Maintain inventory of laundry supplies and notify the supervisor when orders are necessary.
Adhere to DOH and ACHA safety regulations and follow infection control procedures.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the laundry area.
Assist with other housekeeping duties is required.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a laundry or similar role is preferred but not required.
Ability to operate laundry machinery including but not limited to washers and dryers.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Capability to lift or carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods.
Excellent communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
